Thailand Map

Thailand is a fascinating and exotic country to explore.

Come and discover Thailand's scenic and cultural treasures with our team of locals and long-time residents. We all live and work here and share a love of Thailand, its people, culture, scenery, cuisine and overall lifestyle.

We have been building and operating travel websites in Thailand and throughout SE Asia since 1995, working closely with the Tourism Working Group of the Greater Mekong Subregion and the Tourist Authority of Thailand. Our visit-mekong, visit-laos and visit-burma sites are all highly rated and informative. Our detailed destination sites for Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Khao Lak, Krabi, Phi Phi Island, etc. are also extremely popular and informative. Now we have combined all of the information we have gathered about Thailand into one complete guide.

Bangkok Fascinating, vibrant, colourful, and at times even mind-boggling... Welcome to Bangkok, where gleaming skyscrapers grace the skyline alongside dazzling, historical temples, and luxury hotels. Where a wrinkly garland maker plies her trade outside a posh five-star mall. Past, present and future live harmoniously together. Indeed, Bangkok has it all; it’s a sensory thrill that never ceases to delight.

From floating markets and fruit carvings to robed monks and the infamous tuk-tuks, postcard images abound. But, to experience the true marvels of this city of contrast and diversity, take a deeper look – far beyond the visual images you are familiar with even before your plane touches down.

While you’re in Bangkok, make sure to make the most of the city's famous nightlife, experience the excitement of a Muay Thai boxing match, or the glitz and glam of a ladyboy show. Perhaps an elegant dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River tickles your fancy? What about treating yourself to a legendary Thai massage and rejuvenating spa treatment, bound to elevate you to heavenly bliss? And then, of course, bargain shopping galore! This – and much, much more – is Bangkok. Explore. Experience. Discover its hidden secrets. And enjoy your stay!

Phuket - The Pearl of the Andaman.

The above map was prepared as a fun and useful tool, to help you find your way around Phuket. You'll find the location of hotels, local businesses and of course the popular beaches. Fondly referred as the "Pearl of the Andaman" for its beautiful scenery with forest covered hillsides and white sandy beaches. The island is about the size of Singapore and has a busy provincial capital - Phuket town. Although small, it has modern hypermarkets, leisure facilities and local markets. It takes about 1 hour to drive from the airport to the south of the island. Many visitors head for the most popular beaches - Patong, Kata and Karon, situated on the west coast, which have a good range of accommodation and entertainment. The quieter resorts tend to lie to the north and south of these areas with less facilities outside the hotels and a more sedate nightlife.

Pattaya - Thailand's capital of fun, is a hedonists paradise. A top tourist destination with excellent accommodaton, quality food superb golf courses, watersports and a nightlife that is legendary...

In recent years families, groups and business travellers have also discovered Pattaya's attractions from extensive sports facilities to offbeat museums and lush botanical gardens, providing a holiday destination second to none...
