Location
Resort Bodrum represents peninsula and is in a southwest of Turkey in immediate proximity from Greece, is washed by Aegean sea glorified by the strong winds. The nearest to Bodrum bays (Bytez, Gumbet, Torba, Kaynar) in peak of a season (July - the middle of September) are served by fixed-route taxis almost round the clock. Unfortunately, to reach any remote hotel it will be possible only by a taxi at late night.

Nature
Low hills Bodrum slightly concede in greens to Marmaris and Fathiye, but landscapes and the cut up line of coast with numerous bays do not leave indifferent anybody. Tourists can not experience, that they should go on a streamer to hotels. Though the road rather twisting, practically is not present rises and descents.
Climate
Air is drier, than in Marmaris, or, especially, in Antalya. Heat is transferred very easily even to peak of a season, in fact Bodrum is in the most western part of Turkey. To suffer from heat it is not necessary also due to the constant breeze involving in these places of surfers from all world.

Hotels
Bodrum hotels are on distance from the airport of Milas. Though there are hotels and in city Bodrum (in the same bay), the majority overwhelming of them is nevertheless not in the city, and in its vicinities. They are scattered on 14 to bays of peninsula, on distance from 5 up to 30 kms from city.
The majority of hotels of this region are typical Bodrum architecture and represent small two-storeyed buildings (country houses, a bungalow) white color though sometimes there are buildings in height up to 5 floors.

The beach and the sea
In different Bodrum bays you can find beaches for all tastes: sandy, sand-and-shingle, wooden platforms, concrete platforms, at coast it can be deep and finely. Sometimes on an entrance in the sea there are big enough stones. In many hotels beaches are made is artificial also sand bulk. Is, certainly, and natural sandy beaches. Pay, please, attention to comments to each concrete hotel. The sea in Bodrumе practically ideally pure, turquoise, but is little bit more cold, than in Marmaris.
